Why a neurotoxin?
Several neurotoxins are approved in the United States and they are not interchangeable with one another. Which one is appropriate for you, and why, is discussed at your consultation — your history, the area being treated and how you have responded to treatment before all bear on it.
A neurotoxin is a purified protein that temporarily interrupts the signal between a nerve and a small, specific muscle. Where that signal is quieted, the muscle stops contracting as forcefully, and the skin folding above it gets a rest. Over the following weeks the crease it was making softens.
Who it suits
- Frown linesThe vertical crease between the brows that makes you look angry or worried when you are neither. This is the area the product used here carries FDA approval for.
- Forehead linesHorizontal lines that show when you raise your brows, and are starting to linger afterwards.
- Crow’s feetFanning lines at the outer corner of the eye when you smile.
- A thin upper lipA lip flip — a small dose that lets the upper lip roll outward slightly, without any filler.

Why filler?
Hyaluronic acid is a long sugar chain your body already makes — a glycosaminoglycan. It sits in skin, joints and connective tissue, and it holds water. A dermal filler is that same molecule, manufactured in a gel and cross-linked so it stays where it is placed rather than dissolving in days.
Lips change in ways a neurotoxin cannot answer. The vermillion thins, the border loses its edge, the upper lip lengthens and rolls inward, and asymmetry that was always there becomes more visible. Those are volume and shape problems, and they are what a hyaluronic acid filler is for.
Who it suits
- Thin or flattened lipsSoft volume placed to suit your proportions — with the upper-to-lower relationship respected rather than inflated.
- A lip that has lost its borderDefinition restored at the edge, which often reads as a tidier mouth rather than a bigger one.
- Dryness and loss of hydrationHyaluronic acid holds water, and a hydration-led treatment can improve how the lip feels as much as how it looks.
- AsymmetrySmall corrections to the side that sits differently, assessed at rest and while you speak and smile.

Kybella
For fullness under the chin that persists at a stable weight — a small injectable series that permanently reduces the fat, without surgery.
Appointment

Sessions
2–4, at least 4 weeks apart

Why Kybella?
Deoxycholic acid is a molecule the body already makes to break down dietary fat. Kybella is the same molecule, manufactured to pharmaceutical standard and injected in precise doses beneath the chin. Where it contacts a fat cell, the cell membrane is disrupted and the cell dies. Over the following weeks the body clears the debris through ordinary lymphatic pathways.
Fat cells destroyed by Kybella do not come back — the result is durable in a way that surface treatments cannot match. It is not a defense against weight gain, and it does not tighten skin. Whether it is the right answer for you depends on the mix of fat, skin laxity and muscle under your own chin, and that is assessed honestly at consultation.
Who it suits
- Moderate submental fullnessA pocket of fat under the chin that persists at a stable, healthy weight and does not soften with posture.
- A profile disproportionate to the faceThe chin-and-neck line is softer than everything else — often genetic, often unaffected by weight loss.
- Skin with good elasticitySkin that will retract as the fat is removed. Under about fifty is the easiest case; individually assessed above that.
- Preference for a non-surgical optionAn honest alternative to submental liposuction for the right anatomy, with no scar and no anaesthetic.

Why topical PDGF?
Growth factors are signaling proteins the body releases during healing. Ariessence Pure PDGF+ is a topical serum produced by Cellese Regenerative Therapeutics, applied to the skin immediately after microneedling.
Microneedling creates controlled micro-channels through the outer layer of the skin. The topical serum is applied to the surface afterwards. It is not injected. There is no blood draw.
Who it suits
- Crepey under-eye skinThin, finely wrinkled skin where filler would look lumpy and neurotoxin does nothing.
- Overall dullness and poor toneSkin that looks tired and flat rather than lined.
- Early laxityLoss of firmness and bounce, before it becomes something surgical.
- Neck and décolletageAreas that age early, are hard to treat, and are frequently ignored until they are advanced.

Microneedling
For texture, scarring, pore appearance and firmness, built over a course rather than an appointment.
Appointment
60–75 minutes
Social downtime
24–48 hours
Course
3–6 sessions
Why microneedling?
Microneedling creates thousands of very small, controlled channels in the skin using fine sterile needles at a set depth. Each is a tiny, deliberate injury. The skin responds the way skin responds to any injury — by mounting a repair process that lays down new collagen and elastin.
The result, over a course of treatments, is skin that is firmer, more even in texture, with refined pore appearance and softened superficial scarring. It works in the dermis rather than only on the surface, which is what separates it from a facial or a superficial peel. Lasers and other energy devices work at that level too, and are alternatives worth discussing.
Who it suits
- Rough or uneven textureThe single most reliable thing microneedling improves.
- Enlarged poresAppearance refined as the surrounding dermis thickens and supports them.
- Acne scarringRolling and boxcar scars respond best. Deep ice-pick scarring responds least and needs honest expectations.
- Fine linesSuperficial crepey lines, particularly around the eyes and mouth.

A scalp microneedling service
Scalp microneedling is a topical skin service. A microneedling device is drawn across the scalp to create controlled microchannels through the outer layer. Nothing is injected. It is not a medical treatment for hair loss and does not treat, cure or prevent hair-loss conditions.
If your primary goal is medical hair-loss treatment, dermatology and prescription options belong to that plan. Individual results vary and no specific outcome is promised.
Who it suits
- Early diffuse thinningA widening part or gradual loss of fullness across the top of the scalp.
- Increased sheddingMore hair in the brush, the drain and on the pillow than a year ago.
- Postpartum and post-stress sheddingTelogen effluvium, where recovery has clearly stalled on its own.
- Alongside medical careThis is a cosmetic scalp service, not a substitute for medical hair-loss treatment. If a dermatologist or physician is guiding your care, that plan takes priority.

3–6 peels, 2–4 weeks apart
Why a peel, and why in a series?
Skin renews itself continuously, and measured turnover in adults takes roughly six to eight weeks. It slows further from about fifty onwards. As it slows, dead cells linger, pigment settles unevenly, pores hold on to their contents, and the surface loses its clarity. A peel is a controlled way of releasing that layer on purpose, so the skin underneath is revealed and the cells beneath it are prompted to divide faster.
The chemistry is not one thing. Glycolic and lactic acid are water-loving alpha hydroxy acids that work on the surface and on tone. Mandelic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid too, but it dissolves in both water and lipid, so it penetrates more evenly across oilier areas and is gentler in practice. Salicylic acid is oil-loving, so it travels into the pore and is the correct choice for congestion and breakouts. Blended formulations combine them with brightening agents for pigment. Choosing the right acid is most of the skill. The application is not incidental either: depth builds with each layer and with time on the skin, and staying within the epidermis depends on timing and restraint. Several formulations are kept here, because the right acid depends on the concern and on the skin.
Who it suits
- Uneven tone and dullnessSkin that has lost clarity, with no single fixable flaw. The most reliable thing a peel does.
- Post-inflammatory pigmentThe brown marks left behind by old spots, long after the spot has gone. Responds well, in a series.
- MelasmaImprovable and manageable, not curable, and it will return with sun and hormones. Gentle, conservative formulations only, and a clear statement of how much improvement is realistic.
- Congestion and blackheadsSalicylic acid gets into the pore where a surface exfoliant cannot reach.
$650–$895 per treatment, by formulation. Concierge minimum applies.
